Ever heard of a Slash Dot?

Well, neither had we until the folks at Wired magazine told us a Press Release our public relations team had them post online drove so much traffic to the site that it “slash-dotted” their servers.  So, we looked it up and it means our article caused a massive increase in traffic and overloaded their site. And they are an online magazine with millions of readers – the site is used to a little higher than average traffic!

That was only one of the many marketing milestones we achieved for the NASA Flight Analogs Program.  Over the span of our seven year contract, in which we were charged with assisting recruiting of subjects for a medical research study nicknamed “the bed rest study”, we drove hundreds of thousands of visitors to their website resulting in thousands of applications for the study.  We helped with PR, advertising, media buying and other marketing consulting.
